Salmon Burgers

Salmon creates a fresh, lighter burger that satisfies a coastal appetite.

Try this simple, canned recipe:

Ingredients:

  • One 14.75 oz. can of salmon (we used this one, but any brand will work)

  • 1/2 tsp. lemon zest

  • 1/2 lemons, juiced

  • 2 tsp. basil

  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs or Panko (I’ve linked my favorite)

  • 1 tsp. black pepper

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp. chopped onion

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:

Combine all ingredients to make patties. Cook for 4 minutes on each side on medium heat.
