Halibut Sausage Pattys

 If you like breakfast sausage, you’ll love this recipe.

Fresh fish is a major staple for each meal in Alaska’s Wildest Kitchen — even during breakfast.

Halibut Sausage Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. raw halibut

  • 1 tsp. each of salt and black pepper, ground ginger, ground coriander, garlic powder, dried thyme, rubbed sage

  • 1/2 cup of powdered milk

  • 1/8 tsp. of cayenne

  • 1/8 tsp. of ground allspice

  • 1/4 cup of olive oil

Directions:

Grind fish using 3/16” grinding plate, mix ingredients with ground halibut thoroughly. Form into patties. Cook on stove top or outdoor grill, or freeze until needed.
